Annual trip to KL!

Just got back from my annual trip to Kuala Lumpur the last two weeks. I don't know if it was consider lucky or not, I caught a cold and fever on the very last day there.

But I am very thankful that now I'm at home, in the comfort of own bed, typing this. Still having coughs now and then and running nose that seems like pipe not being closed tightly enough.

Ughh. I already have like tissues piling up in the rubbish bin beside me. Looks like I don't even have to paint my nose red to become the red nose reindeer for this Christmas. You get the picture.

Anyway, back to the trip. It has been a thing for me to go to KL at the end of the year annually since I've been with my bf. We would go there and stay with his sister's family, for slightly more than a week or so normally.

But this time round, I only manage to book for a week trip. But it's OKAY because I still get the chance to meet Audrey and Cheesie at Foruchizu!!! I'm so damn happy just to find out that I am actually able to meet them in this trip of mine! Must be quite some deed I did in my past life to get this chance. LOL. I shall talk about that later on.

Now it's picture time! Didn't manage to snap a lot of picture because I was too busy snooping around for great deals. AHAHAHA! XD

1st lunch there. Ninja Joe's BIG BOSS =D And also the 1st time having it, but I must say, it's damn nice! *slurp!*
Cute packaging ^^

Bf saw this and insisted that the picture to be taken. LOL.

My shuriken!

 Cute little gelato sticks=))

At Candylicious with the huge lollipop cushion. It's so fluffy!

X'mas decorations at 1Utama.

Went to see Foruchizu at KLCC the 2nd day and try my luck to see if I could meet them. And guess what?! I MET THEM!!! =D but too bad I'm so damn shy and don't dare to interrupt them when they try out the clothes there. So in the end I just stand from far and watched them like a wolf preying over her meal. LOL!!

But but but......I do get the chance to wave at Audrey! AHAHA! So puny of me. Don't even think she'll remember me just by that but I'm happy already and cannot sleep that night. True story.jpg.

No pictures for that because I'm too shy and now I regretted it= =

Well next! Went to the beach at Kuantan on the 3rd Day. It was roughly a 3hours drive there. At first we (me and my bf) still thought we were going to have a day trip to the beach when his sister said so, because we always had day trips to the beach in Kuching so we didn't expect we have to pack anything.

In the end when we saw her packing huge bag of clothes for her family then we know what's really going on. There was no such thing as day trips to the beach in KL as the rides to the beaches were long. Not having the need to mention we drove there ourselves.

We went to one of the "hotel" at Cherating, Kuantan and got ourselves a room there. Double queen size bed per room. The room was quite large because it was some sort of a small house, a "chalet" as we called it here.

Here are some of the pictures I took. I like the bubbles formed when the water was washed ashore. I will just go "Awww~" when looking at the picture.

Credits to my bf's sis for this picture. I made the footprints and she took this artsy photo of it for me. =)

When to this famous(?) restaurant at night for its stuffed crabs. Very Yums indeed!

I think it was at Terengganu because I thought I we passed the arch thing between states informing you that you have entered the particular state.

Yes I just googled it and it is indeed situated in Terengganu. Wah! We had travelled from KL-Pahang-Terengganu in a day's time. I know it sounds very sakai, but I am very excited when I found out. LOL! xD

The yummilicious stuffed crab! The part you see here is actually the hollow part stuffed with its meat with other ingredients and covered with egg white.

So when you dig into the egg white, SURPRISE! Crab meat filled inside. The best part? You don't even have to get messy to get every piece of the meat out from the shell! LOVES~!

 Decorations outside Pavilion.

 Huge-ass coach with crystals on.

Pavilion was the last stop before we head home for shower and dinner and rush to KL sentral for our bus ride to the airport. Tiring but worth it! Because...jeng jeng jeng..I got myself 2 dress at H&M! hahaha!

Well that ends my post on my KL trip. Another story another time! Bye!

Updates - Work dramas

It's more than a month since I last updated. Most probably it's because I have nothing much to update about since I just spend my days doing the usual "Wake, work, home, rest, sleep".

And when you think that I really have nothing to say because of such typical life I have, you're wrong.

One of the things that has the most drama revolving around it would be my work.

I've been working ever since I started my second year in college. It's only a part time job as I still have to attend my classes but I practically spend my entire day at the boutique whenever I have no class. And yah, I worked as a sales assistant at a boutique near my college.

That time, I was sharing the job with a friend of mine in the same college and she's taking different course than me. Thus, our timetable doesn't clash and either of us would be able to attend class and the other stayed at the shop.

It was a great experience and I appreciate that she was with me because I'm very shy to approach customers.

Then after that, I had finished my course and doing some other part time job before I went to an audit firm (which the company cannot be named here). Learned a lot and was happy that I met quite a few of my good pals now and learnt a lot there.

Then I moved on to a new job, (Ahh..my current job), I thought I would be happy working here as I like the idea of taking care of and running the office by myself with minimum supervision.

But soon after that I realised something, I am the only one running the company but I have no authority of doing anything. If that's the case, then how am I suppose to run it?

Then things get worse when someone was appointed as the "manager" of the company. The "manager" that doesn't even do his work and all was done by me. The "manager" that can't even earn my respect for him. I'm pissed off.

So now, I'm just a normal employee, who do all the work but credit stolen by "manager". FINE.

No really, I'm fine with it now since I've decided to leave (I've submitted my resign letter long before I wrote this) and looking from far away how the company is going to operate smoothly with the "manager" that doesn't even know how to do anything or the daily operation. Ha!

Yes I know I sound very evil and looking down at him there but seriously, don't tell me you would feel the same when you're in my shoes.

If he can get it done perfectly then he has all my respect for him and I will take my words back, if not, he's just going to be the proof that I am right and that would definitely made my day. But I seriously doubt he would. So yah, I'm just that badass.

All the dramas happening in this job were so much that I always ended up feeling upset when I went home at the end of the day. I have not experienced such dramas in any of my previous works (and I think I had done enough jobs to qualify myself to said that) and so, I am very convinced that the problems doesn't lie in me but them

I've been so worked out that it affects my daily life and my relationship with my family. And this shows that it's time to call it a quit. Quitting is the best solution for this and I know that my friends and family supports my decision.

After this, I'm going to rest at home, doing what I like the most, nuah-ing my bed and my pillow, or just go or fly somewhere to enjoy myself before working again and I think I pretty much deserve it. =D

Along with the ending of 2012, it is definitely a great ending to all this nonsense and new beginning for 2013! I really hope it would be a great year next year and less nonsense and more excitement.

Oh and I almost forgot! It's exactly one month from now then it's Christmas! Then few days after that would be NEW YEAR! Have you ticked off all your 2012 resolutions and started with the 2013? Haha.

Well, I have not, but hey, I've only started it few months ago and it's quite a long list. So I guess I'll just bring it forward to next year and hopefully I don't have to bring forward those to the year after next. *wink wink*

My key of freedom

Hi!!

Sorry for the lack of activity in this blog. Just can't find time to blog these days. My work is slowly taking over my life and I should really start planning to get my life back on track again. All work and no play makes me a zombie. LOL

So, everyone has a time in their life where they would be presented with their own "key of freedom". Some of you may not understand what am I talking about, but I'm sure most of you already know it.

(Just to be sure that you're following me, what I meant by that doesn't have anything to do with games or quests, if you're thinking that.)

Reaching 21st (last month) was a big thing for me. For some, it might mean that being able to set their foot into casinos, pubs and so on. But for me, I think that's it would be a new beginning at this stage of life where I've never been to.

And yes, I'm also happy that I could set foot at those places since I'm legally allowed to, but that's not the main idea I'm having. Or to be able to give my vote to the rightful minister that would lead our country to a better future. I'm...just not that patriotic kind of  person.

*GASP!*

I felt o..o....o......OLD all of the sudden while writing this post. Oh no!!
I always had this "I'm still young and I have nothing to worry about" kind of feeling because my friends around me are mostly older than me (90% of them) and I would be the youngest among them. It really feels nice.
But now, to my horror, I started feeling insecure with the age starting with the number "2". Gosh, now I know the feelings of my friends when they say that they feel somewhat afraid every time their birthday is just around the corner.

Guys, now I know the feeling T^T *sob sob*

So on back to the topic, if you have followed me on my blog, you would have know that my birthday party was held at my house.

I have not taken any photos by myself but a friend of mine took quite a few for me=) I'm glad he did because if not, I would have nothing to keep as a memories of my one and only 21st. Thank you! (you know who you are, and even if you didn't read my blog, I still want to thank you^^)

Due to the poor lighting at my house, most of the pictures are blurred out and I have no idea how to fixed it. Thus, I can only post up a few of the clearer ones. SOWIE! >.<

I don't like the kitty's face on the cake, so i specifically asked my friend NOT to show it in the picture. LOL!

The ribbon at the side of the cake had been taken off for cake cutting.

Can't really see my dress here, but it's super cute! navy with rice white colour and a bow at the chest.
LOVE IT!

Don't like the kitty because I feel that it's very ugly so I went ahead and shoved the candles onto it while others might have stuck it away from the face.

Nah WHATEVER!

I was so resentful towards the kitty's face that I chopped off and feed it to people that attended my party. MUAHAHAHA~!! *evil laughs*

It taste quite nice despite of the ugliness though.

Retreat from the bustling

(p/s: This post was drafted right after I've returned from the resort and it just sat here for  some time already waiting for me to include in the pictures. HAHA! Oops=P)

(p/s/s: Be WARNED! This post will be the longest post I've written so far and with the most pics in a single post. So if you're tired or busy, please save it for another day >.<)

I am currently having post-vacation syndrome, where I'm lazy in doing anything, and that includes blogging. My bag is still at the corner of my room and all the small bottles of shampoos and some daily essentials are still in there and I don't even bother to unpack them.

Not that I stopped cleansing my face after returning or some sort. It's just because I still have those in the regular size bottle or container or whatsoever. Those where just samples or some bottles I've filled with my own shampoos especially for vacations. LOL! xD

So, if you've read my blog, you would know that I was heading to the beach for vacation with my bf and friends, Lii Ling & Terrence, on National Day. We had started planning this trip for almost 2 months. We're all working so the only time we can relax and head out for some fun is during the weekends and holidays.

Hi hi=) Ah Mat (Terrence) drove us up that day.

It took us 1½ hours to reach Lundu Retreat Resort. Thus, braid my hair into fish-tail braid instead to kill some time.
OMG did I see double chin here?!

Reached! Wearing my kitty t-shirt. Hehe. Cute right? Lol

Since the National Day falls on Friday, it would be the perfect time for us to head to somewhere farther from the city. We could also rest at home after returning so we won't look like zombies working the next day.

We have long to stay at this resort ever since it was opened to public I don't know when. Hahaha. But it took us quite awhile to decide as the price per night were quite pricey and we still don't know if it the stay would match the price. If you know what I mean.

However, in the end, we fell for it. Just because our friends never been there before (my bf & I have been there with his secondary school's buddies but just to walk on the beach though), we all never stayed there before, obviously, and I think I would be nice to give it a try and IF it turns out right we might be visiting sooner than you think! =)

Posing for pics!

My friend here, has the photographer instinct among us. She will always ask her bf to take pictures of the place or her or her at the place. LOL. But mostly her. hahaha. Maybe I should learn from her so that I would have more pictures for this blog^^ *fingers crossed*

Photoception

I find this photo above particularly funny. =D

Too hot! Can't stand not tying my hair up.

Fool around until it's too hot that we hide under the tree for shelter.

Waiting under the tree for our room to be cleaned. And having numerous sand fly bites on our legs because of that. = =ll

Checked in was 2pm but we reach at around 1:30pm. This troubles me because I never have such encounter before. Maybe I've in no right to say this as I only been to few hotels and resorts before, but do they really need 2 hours to clean a single room? Okay maybe they need. = = But I really beh tahan liao 'cause the weather was scrouching hot! I NEED THE AIRCON! And mind you, the lobby has no aircon too.

Heading to our room

Our room is facing directly towards the sea so quite convenient and we don't have to walk that far to and from the beach

Oh btw, our room is a chalet (premier), thus equipped with an open concept bathroom! XD

Open concept bathroom with a too excited me inside.

It was horrible I tell you. Not because of the condition of the bathroom, but the open concept. We were all not used to the concept and I kept imagining things like a head popping from the side of the wall and watching us bathing= = But that, only happens to me and friends (imagining things I mean). My bf has no trouble bathing there and said it was nothing. Huh! Proud ass! LOL! XD

And so, after the usual Wahhh and Wwuuuu, we finally calm ourselves down and had snacks that we brought along for this trip.

Our all time favourite, CHEEZEL!

Sorry for the small pic. Thought I've taken a photo of it but couldn't find inside the camera.

Guess what is this? ;D
(psst! Give you a hint. It's crispy. Comment below and if you know the answer=])

The weather was very hot as I've mentioned earlier on, so we sat in the room for quite awhile before deciding to head out and play.

By the time we really decided to go, the sun is already been blocked by the buildings and it was cool and breezy.

Terrence had brought his boomerang and we tried to play with it out in the open at the mini soccer field. You know how they always throw the boomerang on Tvs? Throwing it out in the air effortlessly and it will return to you, just like magic? It all seem so damn easy right? But the reality kills you. = =

We tried like forever and the most the boomerang would fall is 1metre away from where I stood. And that only happened ONCE!

DAMN YOU BOOMERANG! Lol.

And I almost hit some stranger beside the field. Damn paiseh you know?!

Gave up after all the unsuccessful attempts and head to the sea for a swim^^ Good choice I would say. Water was so clear and with slight warmth to it. Just nice. =D

Went swimming in the pool with bf right after getting up from the sea and while waiting for our friends to shower. I don't really like swimming in pool water when there is no sun because it would be freezing cold and I can't stand being in there for even half hour swimming. I have no fat in my body to insulate wtf.

After everyone is done, it's time for dinner and we were all starving. Since we only got 2 tickets for the dinner at the resort, the guys suggested that we girls tried out the dinner 1st then message them if it's worth the money for them to dine at the resort's buffet dinner. Si beh lame.

View of the sea at around 7pm. The real deal is absolutely more pretty than what the picture can portray.

View of our chalet at night.

In my mind I was thinking, since the resort is so pricey and all the facilities seems so nice, the food must be up to the standards too. And by thinking that, I was led to even greater disappointment!

Some of the food of my choice

Clockwise starting from the top. Mix vege, carbonara spaghetti, hotdogs and sweet & sour fish. As you can see, those are  food we could find at the fast food stall on daily basis, except for the carbonara of course. To me that was unacceptable. I don't pay that much to have something so common. Hmmm I'm not quite sure what is consider "uncommon" but I'm pretty sure those are not in the list. I'm not saying that they MUST serve high class food like foie gras (even I don't eat those), scallop or something, but at least, other than those I suppose.

So for the mix vege, it's tasteless, a VERY healthy dish, I would say. Too healthy that they didn't add any salt to it.

The carbonara I have not much complaint to it, thou it's a bit too watery for me. I think if it was more creamier, then I would say it's the nicest dish among the others in the buffet.

Same goes to the sweet & sour fish, just okay. And for the hotdogs, I have no comments for it. What could go wrong with hotdogs right? If a person can then he/she would be hopeless. (and I am the hopeless one. LOL!!)

There goes Retreat's dinner buffet's review. The guys were quite happy about it thou. Because they don't have to bother going then found out the food was MEH and they get to eat seafood with empty stomach.

Lii Ling was the most excited one, to be able to have seafood for this trip, ESPECIALLY CRAAABBBBBSSSS~ Crabby crabby^^

WE LOVE CRABS!! Hahaha.

Up next! Few shots of the food by Terrence.

Squid cooked with I don't know what. xD

Crabs with salted eggs.

Mixed vege.

Butter prawns. The white thingy covering the prawns are actually milk powder. Very nice indeed!

Um...Hai Sem Teng? Don't know what it was really called in English though. Sea cucumber soup?? I think. LOL!

Head back to the resort straight after dinner and went out to the beach and start a fire using twigs and coconut shells. Was going to sort of "BBQ" the corns that we bought at the Lundu Market before reaching the resort.

Corn bought during the day

Setting up a fire kind of reminded me of days in scouts. Miss it a lot. Going to the jungle camping and sorts. AhhhHHH! I MISS IT!! *grabbing and pulling hair*

Waiting for the corn to be done and fooling around

In the end, after waited for so long for the corns to cooked, the corns are not edible! = = It's still raw and it's just like biting into crunchy rocks! GOSH!

Feeling disappointed, we head back to our room, planning to spend our night playing Monopoly. But who knows, all collapsed after watching not more than 30mins of "Superman" on tv!  We have no life one. LOL! XD All aunties and uncles. Haha!

Woke up by bf to see the sunrise.

Incredibly there this huge crowd of people, all with their DSLR with them, waiting patiently by the beach early in the morning just to capture the beautiful sight.

A glimpse of some dedicated photographers.

Taken after that and the sun was too bright to sit there and watch anymore. Squinting eyes. Nah not really. Not even facing the Sun.

We both went back to the room after a long stroll along the beach. Woke up two sleepy heads and head to the pool together.

My cute polar bear, dumb dumb on the bed=))

By then, the Sun was so so hot that none feel like swimming and just relax in the water under the shades. The water was incredibly cool thus I have to start swimming to warm myself up.

And.......I had sunburned because of that. Haih. Worse still, I only realised it during shower after that when I dry myself with my towel. OH THE PAIN! = =

Since it's still early after we had packed our stuff and checked out, we decided to take pictures.

Ran around couple spots and had our picture taken^^

Err...a rabbit face?

Action si beh che. HAHA

View from the Tree Top.

*p.s.: You may stop here if you do not wish to read any of my rants. If not, please help yourselves and continue reading =)*

By the time we were all in car and ready to head home, my bf suddenly realised his phone was not with him. In mind my I'm pretty sure he had lost it as he tends to be a bit careless with all the little details. But I strongly believe that I could have been wrong and he might just left it in his bag. Tried calling and searching the bags but to no avail.

He went back alone to the rooftop terrace near the beach where we had out last picture taken and I followed him soon after that. He reached the top and I could see kids from other resort next to the one we went to hurriedly ran down from the top where my bf was still searching.

I tried to call again when I was on my way there and what I heard was this "The number you have dialled is currently unavailable......". The call suddenly just wont get through! And they have probably had the phone switched off or sim card taken out. I'm not saying that for sure it's those kids that took it, but HEY!

THERE WAS NO FUCKING OTHER PEOPLE AROUND THERE THE WHOLE TIME EXCEPT FOR THEM!! WTF!

F**K YOU KIDS! Didn't your parents ever taught you not to steal!?! Oh I'm sorry, I think even if your parents doesn't teach you you should be old enough to be able to know what's right and wrong! I'm guessing they are probably primary 6 to Secondary 3 students.
Really, F**K YOU!

I came here to relax and enjoy and to be happy, not GOING FRUSTRATED OVER A MISSING PHONE!

I also know that I shouldn't blame anyone but ourselves for losing it in the first place, but you could have made some people's day just being kind enough to send the phone to the reception or wait until the owner comes and look for it right?!

And worse still, I think how he reacted had proof me right when we went to the next resort along the beach to seek permission to talk to the boy we seen (very distinctive as he dyed his hair golden) from their guardian. I think they having church outing.

When asked whether he had seen a phone at/near the terrace top area when he went there and play just now, he said a single word "no" and turn his back on us. FEELING GUILTY EI BOY???????

He then had his friends to back him up saying they just had lunch, came out to have activity with the group and had never set foot on the other resort before.

WTF?! Never set foot there?! Then what did I saw back then?!? A couple of ghosts in broad daylight that looks exactly like them!?!?! Wtfffffffffffffffff.

Really, I'm speechless after writing out this. Maybe we are destined to lose it but "seeing" kids steal and lie just make my heart turn cold.

I'm not going to continue ranting  about this matter any more after this but I really hope that he and the other boys would not grown up becoming a burglar or something. As they say if there's once, there's twice. *sigh*

Ok so that's it! Thank you so much for those who don't and those that read through my rants patiently^^ Will try to blog more after this so stay tuned! *air kisses* BYE!
