Week 13 & 14, 2014

Hi hi!

It's been absolutely the best week ever so far in year 2014.

Went for a staycation at Sematan Beach Resort, happy hour with a bunch of energetic friends and most importantly, accompany my friend to look for her perfect wedding gown! =D

I'm so so happy for her and also excited on helping her with the whole wedding planning stuffs. Really can't wait! =D

ANYWAY, let's talk about my stayction at Sematan first, shall we? =)

So in Week 13 or should i say the end of week 13, our friend came back from miri so we all decided to take 1 or 2 days leave off and went for a staycation at Sematan. It took us around 1 and a half hour to 2 hours to reach there.

 Say hi everyone!

 Lunch.
Looks disgusting but it's the bomb after we spread on our homemade sambal. =)

Nice view isn't it?

After swimming and volleyball session, we went back our hostel to start up fireplace for BBQ dinner that night.

Cooked our rice using pot on stove.

Have not done this since secondary school during one of my scouting modern cooking exam.
Luckily it turned out great! Except for the part where the inconsistent heat emitted from the stove that burned part of the rice (= =)"'

Have not taken much picture after this 'cause I have gone for shower and my camera's battery died on me after that. I did remember charging it not long ago before this but *sigh* it is destined I guess. *wink*

But luckily I still managed to capture some of our dinner before my camera's battery dies. =)

After dinner we went out to the beach with marshmallow and fireworks.

The view, was beautiful. We all laid on the beach, looking up in the dark sky with hundreds and thousands of stars above us.

It was amazing.

The sound of the waves hitting against the shore, with thousands of stars above us, the warmth and dim light from the fireplace just in front of us, and great company with our pals. Those memory are so vivid to me whenever I close my eyes.

Never would I thought that I could find such surreal feeling in such normal beach in Sematan. I guess it is not always about how many stars the hotel has or how well known the place is but the little things we do together and the company that makes the quality of the stay.
