Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Day 1

Hello! 

It's been ages since I last blogged. But here it is, my July vacation.

Some people might have probably guessed where I headed for my vacation, but I'm still gonna say it.

Yes, we went Kota Kinabalu, Sabah! KK in short. This was the 1st time I'm travelling with people other than my family or bf. It was absolutely exciting for me, thinking of the things we could do together and the memories we would all share after we came back.

I really think "the more, the merrier" but at the same times not too many and just a a couple of close friends together is better than just 2 of us. And another couple is just perfect as no one will be neglected, don't you think so? =)

So back to the trip, I would not say it was a short trip as 6D4N is not exactly short nor long. I will be breaking this trip into several posts, if not this post will be too long.

Without further ado, I shall step back and let the pictures do the talking. =)

I think it cost us around RM6 only. And the person that scoop us the ingredients are like "It's all free!" HAHAHA!

Finally had rooms to accommodate us after spending quite some time walking around exploring the area around the hotel a bit.

Kind of disappointed with the hotel. Customer service ain't as good as I imagine it would be.

Dinner just opposite the hotel, inside Wisma Merdeka.

Simple dinner with Kailan and half chicken.

was my blog's 1st birthday and it was 3 days ago.

I'm so sorry mama no update and wish you a Happy Birthday dear bloggie.

I was having the monthly and was so tired from that and since it was Raya, the visiting too. Although I have no right to say it as I only visited 1 house. Please forgive mama kayy? Good girl. (Yes, this blog is a girl thank you very much.)

Okay I shall stop now before anyone call and have me sent to mental hospital wtf.

So so so..1st day of Raya is on Thursday, thus I'm having 4 Days holiday! And....today is already Sunday and I had done nothing at home= = How great.

But! I do had some serious thoughts of what I want to do and I'm very much convinced that I will get it done after this and not like my other thoughts that just sit there and rot away until I have the idea again next time which would be like ages after that. MUAHAHHAHA

I have always into crafts but I just couldn't make myself in doing it. All this while, I'm just having tonnes of ideas but it's all thoughts and no action taken. Sigh.

But it's okay! Better start now than never right? Thou I won't promise anything 'cause I know myself too well and I'm afraid that this time, it will be the same as many other times before, I will be all say and no do.

I'm just hoping that I will go and do it soon when the mood hasn't died off. And speaking of mood, since I'm in the mood for blogging I'm going to get the photos of my last vacation tonight from my friend, a.k.a photographer of the trip (or I should say "of all the trips") and blog about the vacation before I forgot the details of it.

Oh yah! And last but not least, I had roughly planned for my birthday next month. I like things to be planned ahead and that makes me feel secure. I know right, it's still a month away but hey better be safe than sorry =)

I'm really excited for it thou I'm not sure how is it going to turn out. Hope it will be a blast! Also, I really do hope my dearest buddy would be able to join in but I'm afraid even if she wanted to, she could only join some of it 'cause there will be an overnight. =(

Maybe I should hang out with her like always? Going window shopping, having high tea and talking away for the whole day. I do like that a lot and having our girl talks which I really love. 

I think we would feel very much awkward when being together with friends that we don't normally mingled and both of us knows that. Thus, I always find ways not to do that to her thou I'm not really sure if she feels the same. Maybe she's okay with it even she does feels awkward and I've think too much(?) I don't know.

I will ask her if she would like to join in of course, but in the same time not forcing her to go and we can hang out alone if she prefers that. Yup! I shall do that. =)

Hello!

Just to give a teeny weeny idea of the place where I headed to last month, people mainly went there for the beach (?) Hehe. I think most of you could guess where is it already.

But today, I ain't gonna talk about that just yet. Just want to talk about my week after I got back.

Well, what can I say, it's been pretty hectic weeks until now.

Works piling up  waiting for me after I got back, exhaustion I got from the trip is just getting a toll on tiny body. 

But luckily, everything seems to be slowly running smoothly now and I can also finally have the time and mood to blog about my weeks =)

So it's been 3 weeks after I got back, and mostly I've been spending it with work, eat sleep. HAHA!

But! But but but....Because I'd manage to save some money from my trip and not spending all in it, I suggested that we go for seafood dinner at Buntal.

And so we went last night, hoping to get our hands on some CRABS that we all love! To our despair, THERE WERE NO CRABS!! *sobs sobs*

The lady boss told us that to the nearing of Hari Raya and most of the fishermen were Muslims, they didn't went out for catch. Thus, explaining the "no crab" situation. Despite that, we still manage to enjoy other dishes of seafood such as squid, prawns and fish(?).

After that, we went to Escobar Bar & Grill @ Damai Central to chill. To bad we didn't take any photos.

And and and, I've just chopped off my hair too yesterday! I just have the urge to do so and after it has been chopped off, I actually wanted to ask the hairdresser to cut it shorter and shorter! >.<

Shhh..and I have cravings for sushi too. HAHAHAHA! What is happening!? Lol.

MY FREAKING VACATION!!! Boo-yah!

In like 4 Days time, I'm heading off for my vacation with bf and friends. I'm SOOOOO MAJORLY EXCITED!

Like what we always hear, work hard, play hard! 

Yeeaah~ you got that right babeh!

But before I could finally get some fun and rest that I desperately need, I still have to conquer the 1st 3 Days before it.

Right, 3 Days. I can do it. Who am I? Tsk. *pounds chest*  *coughs* Too hard *coughs*



Okay so...I have started packing what to bring for the last few days.

I know right? It's still so early but I don't know! I just got so excited that I couldn't help to start packing little by little every now and then.

Plus, I'm sharing my luggage with bf so I need to figure out what to bring and see make sure there are still space for his stuff. I'm very considerate wan okay. *quickly throw some stuff out from luggage to make space for his stuff*

And and and, I've also bought some new stuff for this trip.

It just puts me in the mood to spending money for shopping. However, there's just this tiny problem. I might have overspent even before I went for the trip! o.O *pulls face*

I'm very forgetful so imma jot down what I bought for future references =)

1) Beverly Hills Polo Club Luggage - red
This was on sales and the colour red is so vibrant and pretty! It just feels like it's calling me to take her home. 

2) Rucksack @ Brands Outlet - orange
I just feel that it's better to bring a rucksack for vacation is more convenient and safe. As you tend to walk more and you can bring water bottle and is shoulder friendly. Plus, you can always use it as hand luggage if you bought too much stuff on the trip back home. xD

3) Biore UV Aqua Rich Water Essence @ Guardian
Confession: I don't really have sunscreen or sunblock. And this, is the 1st I bought. =P Tried a swatch on the back of my hand just now and it really stands up to it claims. NON-STICKY. And it's for face and body. So 1 bird kills 2 stone I guess? Haha!

4) Travel Bottle Kit @ Guardian
It has like a pump bottle, 2 disc cap bottles, a spray cap bottle, 3 cream jars, and a pack of spatula, funnel, pump each. It's also TSA compliance so you can carry into the plane.

5) Phillips SalonStraight Active ION Hair Starightener
This...is....something I want but don't quite need it? I use this to curl my hair instead of straightening. I'm just finding an excuse to buy it, and bringing it to this trip is definitely a good excuse. *wink*

6) Hello Kitty Tissue, Mini size Vaseline Nourishing Lotion
Just some random stuff I picked up while shopping for the above stuff. LOLs!

Lastly, I'm still not going to reveal the destination of my vacation yet. But I shall! In the next post. =)

With a blink of an eye

there goes the month of March.

I don't even know what I did in this month and it's almost the last day already. *sigh*

Oh and, Happy Easter in advance guys! Hehe.

And now back to the topic, I do have some work to do at home after I'm back from my daily 9-5, but, I just can't get myself in doing it. (Procrastinating much?)

When I want to do something, anything in fact, I need to have mood in doing it. And same goes to the works waiting for me at home.

To be honest, I'm not particular liking it. But this is what I need to do for a living, so I shall endure it.

I have like around, 2-3 months left (?) before the deadline. And I practically having panic attack now and then thinking of it.

BUT! I'm still procrastinating!

I'm hopeless, really= =

I'm still trying to change that, so wish me luck ^^v

Dear Baby

Yeah!!

I just bought a laptop last night (well just now technically, cause I just got back from a movie "Oz the Great and Powerful" right after I bought it) and it's the most expensive item I've bought so far!

And just for the record, my brother's has died on me after only few months of usage by me ever since he bought a new one for himself. 

It was already around 4 years old so I can't blame it from dying when I actually need it T^T

I have to buy a laptop for myself now since I have accepted works that required a computer to get the job done. I just wish I would keep getting such deals so that I could pay off my new laptop debt.

And yah, I borrowed from mummy to buy this laptop that I'm using to type this post right now. Sigh~

But oh well, I believe it will motivate me to find more side income and earn more to save for other big things to come in the future. =)

Dear baby,

I promise that I will take good care of you (I would of course) and hope we will have good times together in years to come. So please be good to me?

Ok now I have to get to sleep right away!

I have terribly serious dark eye circle and my eyes is starting to hurt right now when I look into the screen here. So tadah!

Gong Xi Fa Cai!

Hahaha. Today is already "Chu Wu", Day 5 of Chinese New Year and I just about to write a post about it. LOL.

Why me always so slow wan?! Hahaha. xD

And kebetulannya, today is also Valentine's Day, which I think there are not much feel to it. All the dong gong chiang has overpowered the lovey dovey feel. Which I personally feel so as of now while writing this.

Okay anyway, just gonna roughly write down how I spent my CNY this year.

I am actually having 1 week CNY holiday as my boss asked us to take up two days of compulsory leave on Thusday & Friday. Our working days are from Monday to Friday so technically, I am having NINE DAYS of holidays. HAHAHHAHA. Syiok is the word to describe.

I basically just spend my CNY from the first day until today, sleeping at home and do a few compulsory visiting to my mummy and daddy's side of families. And not forgetting, collect ang pows (red packets filled with money and hand over to younger generation as a gift) along the way. Teehee~

I don't know about other people but I noticed that my ang pows had distinctively decreased like more than half of what I'd always received when I was younger.

Maybe 'cause mummy keeps on telling my aunts and uncles not to give us ang pows anymore because we are all grown up and earning our own money already.

Hmph. Not fair lor! Technically all child that has not married yet are eligible for ang pows from the elders.

Haha but nevermind lah. It's true that we are all capable on earning our own money and should not ask for it anymore even the tradition says we could =P

Oh ya! Mummy said that we are going to 青山 tomorrow! So excited. Almost every CNY we would go there and pray for our family for everything lah. Good health, luck an so on. Haha. Going to head out early in the morning though since it's quite far away. But nevermind, can still sleep on the way wan. Hehe.


Done with the CNY now with the Valentine.

Three One words. Upset. Disappointed. Bored. 

Did nothing, go no where just now (except McD), spend time sleeping at home.

Received Valentine's Day gift earlier though and was quite happy with it since I wanted it really badly. A long cardigan from Nicole.

But don't know lah but this time don't think anything will make up for today's mood. Maybe it's the rainy day?

I know I shouldn't have expect him for those when he has clearly said we are not going to celebrate it this year as many things are coming up and we need to save money for those that are more important. I know I'm being a hypocrite for wanting more than what he could give. I shall stack my pillow high and reflect on myself tonight =)

Shall just sleep early now and let tomorrow's sunshine and activity cheer me up. I would normally forget every sad thing by the next day.

So yeah!

Hi! Just a short post today.

I've just received my 2nd beauty box, from Modbox yesterday!

I first found out about this beauty box that was sold in Malaysia from Bobostephnie's blog in November last year. Was so interested in Michelle Phan's Glam Bag but too bad they only shipped within US and later Canada. I then immediately subscribed for a 3-month subscription of Modbox starting from December. 

It's extremely affordable and I personally think it worth wayyy more than what we had paid for! And you'll get 5 different products per box every month. I shall link the website down below so keep reading=)

The end is a new beginning

Just going to sum up everything with something short and simple.

Of course, like everyone else, 2012 has been good to me. I can't really recall everything that had happened every single month in 2012 but I shall try my best to remember kay? =)

January - Coloured my hair RED.

February - Received my 1st bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day. (Yeah!)
 

March - Had roller blade session with friends in an indoor centre. 1st time there and also 1st time roller blading indoor. Had played few years back (oh well maybe MANY years back. lol) but I always played outside on the streets and that was a big NO-NO for the wheels.

April - Had our annual trip to KL from last year being postponed to this month. Spend a week there with bf's sis's family.

May - Nothing much happened here. Just normal days working and hanging out with friends, maybe?

June - Had 2 accounting exams that I was unable to pass 1st trial. Didn't really have time to study for the exams as I was working.

July - Nothing big happened here too.

August - Created a blog of my own! Was always impressed by people that blog and were so good in expressing themselves through words, but now, JENG JENG JENG, I can do the same too!

Received my results for the exams I sat for in June! I PASSED! So happy that I beamed all the way throughout the day. Even when I'm driving! People on the road must have thought that I'm crazy or something. But it's okay! I don't mind cause I'm really happy that I passed!

Went on a 2 days 1 night trip with bf and buddies to Lundu Retreat Resort. I had only posted up the post in October because I'm just that lazy =p. The post is here if you're keen.

September - A month that I've always looked forward to. My birth month. Spend my 21st Birthday here at home with a bunch of my friends and family members. You can basically find related blog posts in the blog archive but I shall be nice and link for you here =)

October - Nothing much here =)

November - Went to dye my hair again simply because I had bought a great deal, RM68 for hair colouring of ANY length! Wanted to dye ash brown as I mentioned here, but the colour turned out be orange brown because I had red colour underneath. 

Was actually quite furious about it because stylist should have warned me beforehand about it and not telling me while they were colouring half way! I would definitely go for dark brown or brown dyes and my colour will still turned out great as reddish brown instead of ashy orange brown.

And actually my colour now at the top half of my hair doesn't even match the lower half. = = And to think that I care about my hair the most compare to other parts of my body and they it messed up, it just made me wanna scream at their face. Literally.

But I shall give them 1 more chance. Just because I'm that nice and I know everyone make mistakes. However, if they can't redeem themselves this time, I won't be seeing them anymore in the future.

Ok I lied about the "short and simply" post because I just have to vent it out!

December - Went on to our annual trip to KL again. 2 trips in a year! I'm so happy =) and sad at the same time because I'm totally broke after I came back to Kuching. Totally.

Spend our Christmas eve staying home with buddies and activities for the night? Baking cookies. Sound so aunty, don't you think? But it really is a nice, spending it with friends, keep us closer to one another.

Last day of my work in a company that I wished I had not met someone so selfish, bossy and ignorant before! Was so happy that I'm finally leaving and won't have to even see that face again in the future! (I AM still now, happy I mean) Hah! Take that! There couldn't been any better way to end my year!

(Just to clarify, that face/person isn't my boss. My boss is a great boss and a great man. I felt guilty of leaving because my boss entrusted me to take care of the company for him but the guilt still cannot win over the will of not seeing that person anymore. Really cannot stand people like that.)

Bought tickets for an event at Travilion for New Year's Countdown. I've forgotten the name of the club, I think it was something called X3? Don't really like going to clubs now as my ears hurts badly in the club. Loud music and strong bass and so on. And the smoke thing that all the clubs here seems to have(?), makes me tear every time. I mean, how can I even enjoy if both my eyes and ears hurts right? Better not go anymore if I had a choice.

So that's it! My 2012 summary. It's quite long for a summary but I've always been bad at it and I'm trying my best not to add in too much as it is supposed to be SHORT & SIMPLE. lolol

I hope that 2013 will be a better year for me and everyone!
